| Captain Musters Patagonian Horse Challenge (Moderate) |
|
| Intro | This itinerary is inspired and is part of the great journey that Captain George Musters did with a Tehuelche band in the year 1869. He was the first European to befriend the Tehuelches and to travel Patagonia just east of the Andes Range, from Punta Arenas on the Magellan Strait all the way up to Carmen de Patagones on the Atlantic Ocean. His book “At home with the Patagonians” was the first real account of these natives of Patagonia and his adventures gave him the names of: “the South American Livingstone” and “the Marco Polo of Patagonia”. |
