Arrival at the airport of San Carlos de Bariloche. Car transfer to a downtown hotel, city tour and last minute shopping for the beginning of our adventure on the next day. We dine at a nice restaurant and spend the night at the hotel.

After breakfast we take a car transfer to the base of Mount Tronador, the highest mountain in the area, and the start of our trek to the Meiling Mountain Refuge. We have a picnic lunch on the trail, during the last hour to the hut we walk along the volcanic rock formations on the ridge between two beautiful glaciers. Once in the hut we have a tea time snack and take the rest of the afternoon to relax and enjoy the astounding scenery, with the majestic flight of the Andean condor. Dinner and lodging at the refuge. Optional: Horse back ride within an hours trek distance from the hut.

We have breakfast at the hut, and then we gear up for our glacier adventure. With full ice climbing gear (ice axe, crampons, plastic boots, climbing harness, helmets, etc.) we get inside the mountains glacier. We start with the ABCs of using all this gear and, after we have trek around some 90 feet deep crevasses, we finish with an introduction to vertical ice climbing. We head back to the hut for a good lunch. After some relaxing time we head back down to Pampa Linda, and take a car transfer to Hotel Mascardi, on the margins of this beautiful lake.

We take an early breakfast and leave towards Lake Steffen, the starting point of our rafting day, on the Manso River (grade 3). We start navigating the rapids, have a picnic lunch in the midst of our rafting trip and after 2 hours of total navigation time we arrive at our landing spot, where we get changed into dry clothes. Transfer to the city of Bariloche, time for city tour and souvenir shopping. We spend the night at a downtown hotel.

After breakfast we take a car transfer to Cerro Bayo, next to Villa La Angostura on the north side of Lake Nahuel Huapi. Mountain Bike descent from Cerro Bayo on dirt road to Villa La Angostura, lunch at La Angostura. In the afternoon more MB on the Quetrihue Peninsula, on dirt road across the Arrayan Forest (the only one of its kind in the world). We catch the boat at 3 PM, at the tip of the peninsula and we navigate across Nahuel Huapi lake. Arrival in Llao Llao port on the southern margins of lake Nahuel Huapi, night at a nice mountain lodge in the woods of Llao Llao. Big argentine asado (barbecue) dinner with excellent argentine red wine to celebrate the end of our trip.
